Dear Friends,
I want to take this opportunity to thank all of the wonderful community members of Ward 6 for allowing me to continue my public service as your representative on the Springfield City Council. I am truly honored.
It has been a privilege to serve the residents and business owners of the inner city for the past three years as the President of the MacArthur Boulevard Business Association, and in my first term as your Alderman I commit myself to improving the quality of life for residents in Ward 6.
I look forward to working with you on critical issues such as public safety, rehabilitation, infrastructure, and smart development. There is still a lot of work to be done, but together we can make the City of Springfield and Ward 6 a wonderful place to work, live, play, and raise your families. Together, we can build a better Springfield!

Cory was elected Ward 6 Alderman on April 5, 2011 with 95% of the total votes cast in Ward 6. He was born and raised in Robinson in Southeastern Illinois, moved to Springfield in 1997, and has lived in Ward 6 since 2004. Alderman Jobe has extensive work experience in both Illinois State Government and the private sector.
